League Bylaws

UPDATES:

Starting 2024

• Each team will be allowed to extend 2 players and franchise 1. This will help keep more players under contract to keep the league from being an auction style. (7/19/2023)

Starting 2023

• Due to lack of long term contracts being given, cap roll over has been increasing. That increase is changing the league to Auction Style League. So to keep our league a Dynasty League, starting 2023 you will only be able to roll over 100m in cap.(8/01/22)

Starting 2023

• Any player who was picked up in place of IR player can now be Franchise Tagged liked others on roster, as long as he is on your roster at the end of the year. (06/13/2023)

STARTING 2022.

• ALL PLAYERS PLACED ON IR WILL NOT RETURN YOU THAT PLAYERS CONTRACT. ALL PLAYERS SIGNED TO FILL ROSTERS AFTER IR PLACING... WILL COME FROM SALARY CAP.
• WHEN SIGNING AND BIDDING ON PLAYERS. THERE WILL NO LONGER BE .500K AMOUNTS

Starting 2021.

• The bottom four teams of draft will be placed in a lottery draft(to prevent teams from losing on purpose) 06/06/2020.

League Features

• 8 Teams
• 25 Man Roster(must include 2 K/D)
• Salary Cap(possible increase adjustments in cap)
• 1-4 year contracts for all players on your roster
• Each year you can extend one contract of a player(who was previously on a multi-year contract) and franchise tag one player who has not been previously tagged.
• 13 week regular season,
• 2 week playoff with 4 teams.
• Annual 3 round rookie-only draft
• Annual Free Agent Auction every July-August
• Weekly Bidding waiver wire system Tuesday – Saturday

Season Timeline

• May - Set Extensions and Tags
• June - Rookie Draft
• July/August - Free Agent Auction
• August/September - Assign Free Agent Acquisitions to contracts. All contracts must be received on the Monday prior to the first Thursday Night Opener
• Week 10 – Trading Deadline
• Week 13 – Playoffs Begin
• Week 15 – Super Bowl
• After Week 15 – Season Ends and bragging rights start
• May 1st - Beginning of new season

Rookie Draft: 3 round draft of all rookies coming into the league.

• 1st round picks will cost 4 million per year for 4 years.
• 2nd round picks will cost 3 million per year for 3 years.
• 3rd round picks will cost 2 million per year for 2 years.

Free Agency:

• Bidding for players
• If no bids on a player for 24 hours, highest bidder wins
• No bidding players up.
• No fake bids.
• No bidding on players if you don't have enough cap space

FRANCHISE TAGS, PLAYER EXTENSIONS AND CONTRACTS;

Player Extensions;

• No players with 1 year contracts will be extended. You can only extend players who were originally signed to multi-year contracts. The contracts will be 20% increase of salary for 2 year extension. 30% salary increase for 3 year extension. 40% salary increase for 4 year extension. For example: a player on a multi year contract for 10 million a year, if extended 2 years his contract will now be 12 million a year. if extended 3 years his contract is now 13 million a year, and if extended 4 years his contract will now be 14 million a year (Round up to nearest mil). You can not use extensions for a 1 year contract.

Franchise Tag;

• When placing the Franchise Tag on a player, the value of the contract will be rounded up to the next 5 million. For example if a players contract was 7 million, it will go up to 10 million, if it was 3 million it will go up to 5. .16 will go to 20. and so on.. get it? hope so..
• Franchised players can not be tagged or extended the following seasons.

Contracts;

• ​Contracts can be 1 to 4 years on players you win during auction periods. As of the 2020 season contracts will now be able to be front loaded, If you have a player on a 4 year contract worth 20 mil a year. you can pay 21+ mil, or 25, 30, 35 and so on in the first year. so remaining years contract value will be cheaper. example:80 mil for 4 years, 20 mil a year contract. you can pay 40 mil in the first year of contract. 20 mil in second year of contract, and 10 mil in the following 2 years of contract. I hope Uncle Mike can understand this part.
• All players signed throughout the season will only be signed for 1 year contracts, which can then be franchise tagged the following year(no multi year contracts allowed).

Retirement or Not on Active Roster:

• If your player retires you can cut that player without having any cap penalties
• If your player is not on an active roster prior to the start of the season, you will be able to cut that player without having any cap penalties.

Players put on IR

• To place a player on IR, he must be placed on IR in real life. you can bring that player back at any time, but you must drop the other player who is placed in the IR Replacement slot.

Drafted Player Extensions;

• 1st round
• drafted QB - 1st contract extensions will be $10 mil.
• drafted RB/WR - 1st contract extensions will be $12 mil.
• drafted TE - 1st contract extensions will be $8 mil.
• 2nd round
• drafted QB - 1st contract extensions will be $8 mil.
• drafted RB/WR - 1st contract extensions will be $10 mil.
• drafted TE - 1st contract extensions will be $6 mil.
• 3rd round
• drafted QB - 1st contract extensions will be for $6 mil.
• drafted RB/WR - 1st contract extensions will be for $8 mil.
• drafted TE - 1st contract extensions will be $4 mil.
• After first contract extensions expire, contract extensions will go back to the 40%, 30% and 20% increase.

Trades

• All players and draft picks can be traded for any other player or draft pick. 
• Trading players just to unload their salary is allowed.
• Monetary trades for players, picks or cap is allowed (ex. Blue Stampede traded Philip Rivers to Bills Mafia for cash)2018

Player Suspensions/Contract Cancellations

CURRENT YEAR OF ALL CONTRACTS WILL BE 100% PAID:

If a player is suspended from the league due to off the field issues,(on or off a roster) the team owner still has to pay his salary. (if that player gets released from team prior to any suspension, the owner can drop that player without any penalties)(Rounding up in cost)

• -4 years left on contract will be 75% of remaining salary. ex: 4 year contract, 10 mill in year 1. next 3 years will be 7.5 a year.
• -3 years left on contract will be 50% remaining salary. ex: 3 year contract. 10 mill in year 1. next 2 years will be 5 mill a year.
• -2 years left on contract will be 25% of remaining salary. ex 2 year contract. 10 mill in year 1. 2.5 mill in year 2.
• -1 year contract will be paid in full. ex: 10 mill contract will be 100% guaranteed.

EACH OWNER CAN BUY INSURANCE ON EACH CONTRACT FOR 1MILL EACH YEAR OF CONTRACT. IT WILL KEEP YOU SAFE FROM HAVING ANY PENALTIES.

No Cap Space left.... You will only be allowed to bid 1mil. on players needed to fill roster spots. Throughout free agency you will be allowed to add/drop as many times as you wish, but never over the 1mil bid. In addition to this gifted money, each player you decide to add will result in a 5mil penalty the following season. (example add 3 guys with the gifted money, next year you will have 15mil less to spend) 06/13/2023.

League Fees & Prize Payouts;

League Fees

• The league fees will be $100 per season.
• In order to maintain league stability, 100% of fees will be due prior to the start of season.
• Any concerns about not being able to make the payment at the deadline should be brought to the commissioner’s attention. League Fees are non-refundable.
• Managers failing to meet the payment deadline (first week of nfl season) will result in the team being declared orphan and a new owner being sought after.
• The commissioner at his discretion may offer new teams at a discounted price and possible no dead cap on rosters as a promotional basis in order to keep the league full.. Plus first or addition draft picks

Prizes Payouts

• Champ – $400
• Runner Up – $100
• First Place regular season - 50$
• Weekly High Scorer (12 weeks – $10 per week) – $140
• Highest Points Scored per position at end of regular season 10$ (60$)
• Survivor pool -50$
• Dynasty Prize /Repeat Champs – There is one exception to the prize payout. Teams repeating as champs in back to back years will win the entire prize pool for that season. Meaning all the other teams will forfeit their prize amounts to the dynasty winner.
